Pre-Move Checklist

• To ensure a smooth and efficient moving process, please review and complete the following preparations prior to the arrival of our moving team:

• Electronics and Valuable Items

• Ensure that all televisions, computer monitors, framed portraits, artwork, and other valuable items are disconnected, dismounted, and properly boxed.

• Please note: Atlanta Home Movers is not liable for any damages to items or property that are not properly prepared.

• Appliances

• All appliances, including refrigerators, washers, and dryers, must be disconnected, unplugged, emptied, and secured.

• We recommend securing all loose cords and hoses. Our team will provide protective pads and proper handling equipment, but proper preparation ensures safe transport.

• Mattresses

• We highly recommend that customers provide mattress covers. Our movers can assist with application.

• While our equipment is maintained in a clean condition, we cannot guarantee protection from weather or pathway conditions. Uncovered mattresses are at risk of marks, stains, or other damage, for which Atlanta Home Movers is not liable.

• Disassembly and Reassembly

• As a courtesy, our crew offers disassembly and reassembly of furniture. Our team is equipped with the necessary tools; however, we cannot be held liable for pre-existing wear, damage, missing hardware, or markings.

• Breakables and Drawers

• All fragile items must be removed from dressers, desks, cabinets, tables, nightstands, and other furniture and packed securely.

• Clothing may remain in drawers; however, emptying these items will improve efficiency, reduce workload, and optimize maneuverability.

• Extraordinary Value Items

• Please gather and transport personally all items of extraordinary value, including jewelry, important documents, firearms, and ammunition. Atlanta Home Movers cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of these items.

• Parking and Access

• Ensure sufficient and safe parking is available prior to our crew’s arrival. Proper truck placement is critical to the efficiency and safety of your move.
